Needs…
Posted by Cliff Cooper in Uncategorized on February 7, 2010
I really need to post an update post right now. I have so many things that I need to get off my chest and bring up to speed. This post is to voice that intention. I have no idea when I’ll get around to it, but I’m just a soul who’s intentions are good, oh Lord please don’t let me be misunderstood.
The new look

Picked up new glasses yesterday, and here’s the progress on the beard. Picking up contacts today, we’ll see how that goes.

Random thought for the day
Posted by Cliff Cooper in Uncategorized on November 7, 2009
So I had to share what is cracking me up today. Apparently living by myself will bring me to stupid randomnesses like this. So in my new home I’m very close to a pretty busy intersection. Throughout the day a car will honk at another car, normally followed by a return honk from the “opposing” vehicle. In my head I replace the honks with certain expletives which adds to the comedy. Don’t ask why this really ha….(sorry it just happened again)…has me cracking up, it could be the cleaning chemicals in the air today, good times…
*ASSHOLE!* … *JERK!*
Damn, I need a life.
Volunteer Park Conservatory

Went out to the Volunteer Park Conservatory today with Debby. Beautiful collections of cactus and bromeliads. I’ve decided that Volunteer Park is probably my favorite park in Seattle.
Prepare yourself Seattle!

The countdown has begun! In less than a week Rudy will grace the Pacific Northwest with his presence. A few friends here in Seattle have been confused when I talk about my best friend. In truth I have two friends that I consider equally my best friend. Marty being one and Rudy being the other. Marty I’ve known since around 2000, Rudy I’ve known since High School since 1997. Both are equally meaningful to me so just confess to having two best.
Rudy will be here Friday and we’ve got a pretty full schedule of things we’re going to try to accomplish. We’ll do the general tourist things like the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, but I also want him to know Seattle’s true heart beat, the heart beat that I’m in love with, the heart beat that makes me smile when I’m on the way to work in the morning.
[Aside sponsored by A.D.D.: I just realized though I really like the picture included in the post, the cropping really annoys me.]
Anyway, Rudy will be my first pre-Seattle life friend to visit since moving up here so I’m extremely excited to show him the city that I now consider home.
Marty will be coming up to see me in November so even though that’s still months away I’m already excited for that.

So I guess I kind of just snuck (hmm, according to Firefox, snuck isn’t a word, could have sworn it was) this on to my page with out some explanation. I received an invitation to join Google Voice, which I jumped on. My profession is in telephone so rightly so I jumped on the opportunity to play with Google’s new technology.
One of the cool features is this little web page widget:
Go ahead, give it a click, type in your name and the phone number that you can be reached at and we’ll be connected, that simple. Doesn’t cost a thing, other than your standard minutes if calling from a cell phone. Very cool stuff.
