Well, I did it. I joined a gym again. I know that the only reason I stuck with the gym as long as I did last time was because I was working out with friends. I hope that this time my focus will be on my goals and to become a thinner healthier Cliff. I’m ashamed to say that my current weight is 307. Not the heaviest I’ve been in my life, but definitely not near my goal weight of 200lbs. I know that for my health and self esteem this is what has to be done. Wish me luck as I embark on what will hopefully be a life changing journey.

    Whoo hoo! Great job! Now the tough part will be making yourself go each week. I still struggle with that, but am finding the motivation to go at least for the eye candy. LOL!

    I think you’ve already started your process by walking everywhere and this is just the next step. Dare we start a challenge of losing a certain percentage by a certain date? ;-) My 2010 goal was to get down to 180 by Jul 1st. That’s roughly 15% of my weight since I’m 210 now.

    Hmm, we shall talk about this challenge. My goal is to lose two pounds per week and to drop 100 lbs within a year. So we’ll discuss.
